New healthy fast food eatery Healthy Bear set to open in Glasgow

A new healthy fast food eatery named HealthyBear is set to open this November on Glasgow’s Ingram Street.

Focusing on fresh food, all locally sourced, the new eatery is the sister venture of the popular dessert parlour JellyBear situated at the same address.

Serving up all things green, herbivores can indulge in the soon to be revealed vegan and gluten free menu. HealthyBear will carefully craft organic cuisines inspired by the team’s travels to South East Asia and Morocco. Each dish will be carefully measured with easy to find calorie content, nutritional information and will be skilfully prepared by leading chef Sharon Murphy.

Revellers have the option of sitting in and taking away as the new restaurants aims to promote healthy living with a quick and easy way of dining.

Sinead Henderson, General Manager of HealthyBear, told The Scotsman Food & Drink: “HealthyBear is all about offering quick, tasty but healthy food to people living and working in Glasgow. We offer sit-in dining, a quick takeaway option or delivery, so we hope to cater to anyone no matter how busy or time shy they are.

“We will also offer offer corporate catering to workplaces and offices across the city.”
