There have been over 30 new whiskies launched on the Master of Malt store in the first three days of July alone but many have quickly sold out.
Luckily there is still a wide selection of new whisky available on the store ranging from exclusive 'secret distillery' bottlings, to affordable whiskies from some of biggest and best Scotland's best distilleries.
The more exclusive whisky begins with a Secret Orkney 18 Year Old 2005 - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory) Whisky 70cl.
Master of Malt says it should not be too difficult to identify the Orkney distillery that produced 608 cask strength bottles of the malt, which has spent 18 years in first-fill oloroso sherry butt until this year.
At £136.50 you get free delivery. Or you can opt for the Secret Orkney 13 Year Old 2009 Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory) Whisky 70cl, which has spent 13 years bourbon hogsheads until it was bottled without added colour or chill filtration in 2023.
A third secret whisky option is the £200 Secret Speyside 18 Year Old 2005 - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory) Whisky 70cl.
The seller has added whiskies from named distilleries too. The Benrinnes 26 Year Old 1996 - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory) Whisky 70cl has spent 26 years maturing in a pair of hogsheads and just 527 bottles were produced.
A more affordable option is the Kingsbarn's Coaltown Whisky. A lowland single malt with a hint of peat, the whisky is matured in casks that previously held peated whisky for a hint of sweet smoke underneath a floral, fruity whisky. At £40 it's the most affordable new whisky to arrive in July but there are just a couple of bottles left so you will have to be quick.
The Whisky Exchange also has a couple of Balvennie options. For £86.95 you can get your hands on Balvenie 2009 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel A Collection of Curious Casks.
The Speyside whisky is the latest in a collection celebrating staff at the distillery.
This release tells the story of the distillery’s warehouse and samples coordinator, George Paterson and you can expect notes of chocolate, orange and vanilla.
Other new whisky at The Whisky Exhange include 18-year old Laphroaig for £175.
Expect the usual powerful punch of peat and smoked meats in the latest Laphroaig. It is a must for fans of heavily peated whisky.
