A food lover and bookworm from birth, she grew up exploring the multicultural restaurant mecca that was, and still is, Vancouver, British Columbia.
In 2011, while out for a walk in the woods with her dog Koda, a recipe from the Outlander series spontaneously popped into her head. Creative juices salivating, she walked straight home and into her office, where she sent a request to publish the recipe, along with a short, five-question, food-related interview to Diana Gabaldon’s Canadian publicist.
