The Summer Beer & Food Festival is set for 1 August and will take place at the Stewart Brewing brewery - with plans for live music and a fine selection of craft beer and local food.
The Edinburgh-based brewery will be launching eight limited release speciality beers at the event, made in collaboration with local companies and food producers. There will be tutored tastings, where you can sample the latest beers accompanied with their foodie partners from Scottish chef Tom Kitchin, gin brewers Edinburgh Gin and iconic Edinburgh cheesemongers I.J Mellis.

As well as the more refined tasting, there will be plenty of good atmosphere and (hopefully) good weather to enjoy - with live music performances and local street food on offer too.
With August seeing a huge influx of tourists looking for comedy and theatre, Summer Beer & Food Festival beats the peak Fringe crowds with a summer event for Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
