Highland Boundary have shared this recipe for a warming drink - an apple dookin cocktail.

Ideal for the autumn and colder weather, this cocktail mixes notes of cinnamon with apple and orange for a drink which will warm-up cold nights.

Ingredients

  • 200mls clear apple Juice
  • 25mls Birch and Elderflower Wild Scottish Spirit
  • 50mls Birch and Elderflower Wild Scottish Liqueur
  • Small cinnamon stick
  • 2 large orange slices
  • Apple slices for garnish

Method

Add all ingredients except the apple slices into saucepan and warm slowly trying to avoid boiling.

Heat for a few minutes to allow flavours to develop.

Pour in to a serving cup and add small apple slices as garnish.

Enjoy.
