Leading coffee experts Union Brew Lab, who first opened in the capital in 2012, say the new outlet will offer everything needed for brewing at home, including the latest kit, coffee beans by weight, tips and tricks from the dedicated team and bespoke brewing workshops.

With the rising consumer interest in brewing coffee at home continues to rise - the ground and whole bean retail coffee market has experienced a five per cent increase in recent years - the team say the new concept store aims to bridge the gap between coffee drinkers and coffee makers.

The curated coffee shop and retail space will also offer experience packages through its Training Lab - a range of workshops for coffee enthusiasts of all levels of experience. Courses include ‘An Intro to Speciality Coffee’, ‘At Home Brewing’ and ‘Latte Art’.

Tom Hyde, co-founder of Union Brew Lab, said: “Our new immersive retail space has allowed us to realise our ambition of breaking down the barrier between barista and customer and make learning about coffee more accessible to everyone.

“We’re now able to showcase and share our knowledge with customers so they can get the best out of their home coffee brewing. It has also helped us take an important step forward in creating a more sustainable company by enabling customers to buy fresh coffee by weight in their own containers.”
