Edinburgh Food Social is a social enterprise which aims to make local food more accessible throughout Scotland.
The new market will offer food, drink and crafts from local suppliers at affordable prices and it is hoped that it will become a monthly event next year, to be held on the last weekend of each month.
The festival will open at 12pm on both Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th of November.
Local residents and visitors to the city are being asked to pop along and try out some traditional Indian street food from Tuk Tuk, contemporary Scottish nibbles from The Pantry, or something sweeter from All About Patisserie or That’s Jammy.
