Combining everyone's favourite chinese menu item with Scotland's favourite breakfast staples to create the perfect way to spice up any morning meal, Hall's posted on their Facebook saying: "Who doesn't love some salt 'n' chilli chips fae the Chinese? How about salt 'n' chilli tattie scones!"

The post has had over 1,500 likes already with over 5,000 food fans posting that they love the idea.

Ed Beck wrote: "You have melted my mind. The ultimate ‘wandering home mashed’ snack. Take a back seat kebab!"

While Graham Dunn added: "Actually at a worrying level of excitement over this."

While Colette Paterson wasn't so sure: "Dunno how I feel about this. Just put it on a well fired roll with tommy sauce"

It's not the first time the firm have come up with a wacky breakfast recipe, earlier this year they caught a lot of attention with their French Tattie Sc-lorne recipe.
