Led by the Paisley Drinks Company, the group of producers, which had been struggling in the current climate, had to come up with a new way of reaching and engaging with customers.
Determined to help each other get through these difficult times, they are now offering a delivery service featuring a range of "different and exciting tastes and services".
Brian O’Shea, founder of soft drinks producer Paisley Drinks Co. stated that they lost 90 per cent of their customer base almost overnight, he said: "Since starting the business in June 2018 there has been a great response from consumers tasting real soda drinks for the first time. The business has grown from strength to strength, and we had big plans for 2020. However, despite COVID-19 stopping the business in its tracks.
"We knew we were not alone. So, we reached out to other local businesses to see if we could team up to provide a service that would help you all through the long hours of isolation.
"I am determined to reach out to as many people as I can to share in the joy of tasting a refreshing soda drink made from real ingredients. They also make great cocktails if you need to upgrade your home bar experience.”
Adding that they hope to engage as many people as they can and their sense of adventure to try and get as many as possible enjoying some "fabulous and pretty unique products" as well as supporting small local businesses.
These include:
Pakora Explorer – Paisley: A small family-run producer from Paisley that originally from Orkney that specialises in delicious pakora.
Nut Shack - Paisley: another family run business that specialises in making uniquely flavoured peanuts - using nuts sourced from Argentina, Brazil & U.S.A blended with some of the best herbs and spices available.

I hope consumers team up to support these growing businesses which are so important to the lifeblood of our local community.”
