Tucked away in Morningside, this cafe is specifically designed for pregnant women and those with babies or toddlers who might find it difficult to navigate other traditional cafes with a buggy or two.

Bread Meats Bread

Located on Lothian Road, Breats Meat Bread is a popular and casual burger restaurant which children will love.

The kids’ menu here has a child-sized version of most of what’s on the main menu (from cheeseburgers to hot dogs) so nobody has to feel left out.

Finn & Bear

Recently opened on the Shore in Leith, Finn & Bear comes from the minds behind The Pantry in Stockbridge, and – named after the owners’ sons – the relaxed cafe, restaurant and bar is equally as kid-friendly.

The wee ones can tuck into soup and sandwiches or go for something more substantial, like the signature Bear Burger.

Dishoom

Popular Indian restaurant Dishoom came to Edinburgh in December 2016, and they are well equipped to welcome families.

Young diners are welcome to order from the main menu and share with their families, but there is also a dedicated children’s menu available here, offering smaller and milder portions.

TurtleDove Play Cafe
