Thaikhun will bring a touch of Bangkok to Silverburn by offering Thai street food in an authentic and traditionally rustic surrounding.

Located adjacent to Carluccio's and Pret, the new 3,337 square foot restaurant will offer great tasting traditional Thai food. The restaurant will be Thaikhun's second in Scotland, joining its four existing restaurants located across the UK.

David Pierotti, General Manager of Silverburn, said: "We are delighted that Thaikhun have chosen to open their first Glasgow restaurant here in Silverburn. As this will be the very first Thai restaurant to open in Silverburn, I am looking forward to tucking into the menu and I'm sure our customers will feel the same."

Sarah Fox, Head of restaurants and leisure at Hammerson commented; “The arrival of Thaikhun at Silverburn is an exciting and innovative addition to the new leisure extension. The mix of leading global restaurant brands that have chosen Silverburn is testament to the centre as the regions premium retail, dining and leisure offer for the local catchment and beyond.”

The brand joins 11 new restaurants, including Carluccio’s, Chimichanga, Cosmo, Zizzi, TGI Friday’s and Five Guys within Silverburn’s recently launched £20 million, 100,000 sq ft dining and leisure extension and completes the line-up of new and exciting restaurants in addition to Glasgow’s first 14-screen Cineworld cinema with the only ‘Super Screen’ in Scotland.
