The frozen food specialists are selling pine tree-flavoured snacks as part of their Christmas range for £1 a bag.

The new flavour is part of a new luxury range of hand-cooked snacks that also includes other seasonal specials such as Pigs in Blankets flavour crisps.

The pine salt flavoured snacks could rival last year's limited edition candy cane flavoured offering from Tesco.

In response to the post, another jokingly asked if they'll taste like "dusty plastic and last year's disappointment".
