Farm to plate dinners to be held in Edinburgh

A new movement which aims to highlight where our food comes from will host the first of its farm-to-table events in Edinburgh this month.

Enroot is made up of chefs, artists and activists and aims to further understanding of how food is produced and plans to hold a series of pop-up events.

In June and July, a total of 12 dinners will take place at four farms throughout the UK with food provided sourced from the communities surrounding each farm.

The dinners will also be attended by farmers and other contributing community members.

The collective has announced their events for June which will be held at Cockburn Farm in Edinburgh with tickets costing £35 per head.
