Tennent’s brings summer back to Scotland this autumn with TLights

It's fair to say this summer was probably one of the worst we've had in many a year, thankfully Tennent's have found an innovative new way of bringing back a little sunshine at the end of a very wet, cold, cloudy summer in the form of bar ‘TLights’.

The weather wasn't good enough over the past few months to sit outside and have a pint, but Tennent’s will bring back that summer beer garden feeling by installing light boxes in Munro’s bar in Glasgow; Clarks in Dundee and The City Café in Edinburgh over three weekends in September and October.

Four light boxes will be placed in a key part of the bar and punters who are hankering for that sunny day feeling can enjoy a pint of T and some light.

A Tennent’s spokesperson said: “Most people love a cold pint in a sunny beer garden, but there’s been little chance to do this as a result of a particularly Scottish summer - so we thought we’d bring summer indoors. Working with Munro’s, Clarks and The City Café, we hope to light up the lives of Tennent’s drinkers for an hour or so anyway. TLights is a bit of fun, we just want to brighten the days of Tennent’s drinkers because the sun has failed to this summer.”

The TLights have already proved popular in both Munro’s bar in Glasgow and Clarks in Dundee and are set to hit The City Café in Edinburgh in October.

TLights will be active between 6pm and 9pm in The City Café in Edinburgh on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October. People can sit in these areas for an hour maximum, ensuring the TLight love is shared.
