Last summer BrewDog ended up collaborating with Aldi on a beer, after the brewers poked fun at the supermarket's familiar looking IPA.
Now it seems that another Aldi inspired BrewDog creation may be on the cards - this time off the back of Aldi's Elvis Juice inspired beer.
The plot thickens:
1) ALDI faked PUNK IPA
2) We made a fake ALDI beer
3) ALDI sold the fake ALDI beer & we planted a tree in the @BrewDog Forest for every case sold 🌳

Posting on his Twitter, co-founder James Watt wrote: "Our friends at @AldiUK have made another fake @BrewDog
beer. This time fake Elvis Juice."
Followed by: "The plot thickens: 1) ALDI faked PUNK IPA 2) We made a fake ALDI beer 3) ALDI sold the fake ALDI beer & we planted a tree in the @BrewDog Forest for every case sold Deciduous tree.
"4) ALDI have now faked Elvis Juice Astonished face. Should we make another fake ALDI beer & if so what should we call it?"
Replies included name suggestions such as Aldi shook up, alehouse rock and ain't nothing but a BrewDog.
Whether this develops into another beer and/or collaboration remains to be seen (especially given it's 1 April) so watch this space.
Earlier this year, BrewDog started a petition to rename Prestwick Airport ‘Joe Biden International’.
The Scottish brewers are known for their tongue in cheek antics, and have previously trolled Donald Trump by asking fans to name a beer inspired by him.
Also this year, BrewDog decided to celebrate the launch of its carbon neutral Lost Lager by giving away a free four pack to all who managed to get online and pay the postage.
The BrewDog website was inundated as fans queued to get their hands on the free beers.
Lost Lager is brewed using surplus bread provided by local businesses, wind power from BrewDog turbines, and the new streamlined process used in the brewing process uses a third less water.
The brewers kicked off the year by offering their bars as spaces in which to roll out the coronavirus vaccine, with co-founder James Watt tweeting Nicola Sturgeon and Matt Hancock.
