There's a pizza and prosecco festival coming to Edinburgh - here's where and when

Fans of pizza and prosecco in Edinburgh are in for a treat as a brand new festival celebrating both confirms a date and venue for the capital.

Originally penned in for sometime this autumn, the organisers behind the unique one day food and drink festival have confirmed that it has been moved to 24th February next year, and will take place at the Mansfield Traquair.

The event which brings the two hugely popular food and drink items together, will have a wide array of pizza-pop ups and local vendors serving delicious slices and 20 different types of Prosecco.

The festival will run over two sessions, one over lunch 12pm to 5pm, and a second in the evening 6pm - 11pm.

Posting on their Facebook page following successful events in England, the team wrote: "Pizza and Prosecco is a delicious new pop up event brought to you by the nomadic 'depot eats'.

"We’ve been perfecting the art of pairing delicious british street food with the finest drink producers and are now taking our events on a uk tour.

"Our pop up event has created amazing nights in Cardiff, Bristol and Liverpool.

"Pizza & prosecco is an day/evening of the most delicious local street food pizza traders from wood-fired neapolitan, to new york slice.

"All paired with a fine collection of prosecco bubbles and live music and DJs."
