Spanish for Crazy Devil, Diablo Loco can be found on South Clerk Street, and will offer a diverse drinks offering and complimentary food menu, both rich in authentic Mexican flavours.

The team behind Diablo Loco says the bar's drink offering will focus on a myriad of tequilas and mezcals, showcased in an eclectic selection of Margaritas, from Smoked Paprika to Pineapple and Cardomon, as well as staples of any self-respecting Mexican cocktail repertoire, such as the Tommie’s Margarita and a classic El Diablo.

Stuart Shearer, general manager of Diablo Loco, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing a taste of Mexico to Edinburgh’s South Side, especially on Mexico’s annual celebration, Dia de Muertos.

"We are truly passionate about traditional Mexican fare, and use exceptional, traditional ingredients that we source locally to keep Scottish provenance at the heart of Diablo Loco.”

“We also can’t wait to show off Infierno, our basement party den. As a private area and home to various music-led events at the weekend, it will be a unique space for exclusive events and all-round revelry.

"At Diablo Loco, we celebrate Mexico’s national drink and look forward to showing our customers that Tequila is a drink on the rise.
