Scotland’s top destination for all things homes and interiors returns to the SECC in Glasgow this weekend. Architect and TV presenter George Clarke, Selling Houses presenter Amanda Lamb and TV interiors guru John Amabile were on hand to officially open the show this morning (Friday 27th May).

The award-winning home show brings together more than 400 exhibitors and eight show sectors under one roof, offering visitors a unique one-stop shopping experience. From interiors to home improvement, gardens to gadgets, the show is  bursting with inspiration, home solutions, show discounts, entertainment, celebrity guest appearances and fantastic shopping opportunities.

Over the course of the bank holiday weekend, along with George, Amanda and John, The Ideal Home Show Scotland sponsored by Wholesale Domestic will feature foodie favourite Gregg Wallace and award-winning gardens expert Diarmuid Gavin who will all be on hand to share their top tips and advice.

Lee Newton, Media 10’s Managing Director said: “This is our seventh year in Scotland and there has been a growing demand year on year for the show.

“Our award winning show promises to inspire and thrill thousands of visitors as it makes its welcome return this weekend. Whether you’re looking to re-design your garden, re-vamp your kitchen or completely overhaul your bathroom, the show has something for every home and to suit every budget.

“We’re expecting this show to be our biggest yet.”

The Ideal Home Show Scotland wouldn’t be complete without a stunning Show home to explore and this year will be no different with The ARC by Green Unit making an appearance.  Taking a leap away from the normal, The ARC is constructed from individual modules that can be designed and configured in any arrangement. Each module is hand crafted and made from natural and low impact building materials, making it one of the ‘greenest’ homes out there.

• The Ideal Home Show Scotland is on at the SECC Glasgow from 27-30 May 2016.
