The store, which is the fourth the brand has launched in the city, officially opened its doors at 6am on Thursday morning (11th August).

Ross Diamond was the lucky first customer to win the Krispy Kreme Gold Card, which will provide him with a free double dozen of doughnuts every month for a year.

The 17-year-old from Crookston queued from 10pm the previous night for the chance to be the first to try the new store's doughnuts.

Krispy Kreme now has seven outlets in Scotland, with stores also being located in Aberdeen, Livingston and Edinburgh.
