This year, Ghillie Dhu is offering a variety of different packages this season, but all ensure a good party to kick off the New Year. Choose from either a seven-course menu for £125 per person, or a three-course menu for £59.95 per person.

Both include Champagne and a lively ceilidh after dinner. If you’re just interested in the after-party then tickets can be bought for

This is sure to be a Hogmanay you’ll never forget. The black tie gala ball, held in one of Edinburgh’s best known hotels, will set you back £320 per person, or £850 if you fancy adding two nights of accommodation.

In the evening you will first be greeted by a pipe band and then moved on to a Champagne and canapé reception where the jazz trio, Le Swing, will entertain you throughout. From here you will then move on to a grand four-course dinner, with specialist wine pairings for each dish.

After the dinner, a ceilidh band will keep you
dancing until the bells where you can then look over Princes Street as the firework display welcomes in the New Year.
