Gin Foundry release new gin drinking habits Ginfographic

The website then created a Ginfographic displaying the survey's results and giving a unique insight into the habits and trends of the Gin foundry audience and by extension the gin drinking market as a whole.

The survey found that the best loved gin concoction was still the Gin and Tonic, thought gin cocktails were once again on the rise with both the martini and the negroni growing in popularity.

Interestingly, over half of those surveyed now expect to 'always' be asked which gin they would like when ordering gin in a bar.

The survey also showed that households are now buying in more bottles of gin than ever before, with over 80% of those asked admitting to having more than 2 brands of gin in their house at any given time.

It seems the results not only give a unique glimpse into the market's buying habits but also provide a testament to the growing popularity of the UK's fastest growing spirit category.
